The BCCGB are holding their annual TICA show on 2nd 3rd October at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire.

*** Entries close approx 23 September ***

This will be a 6-ring show with added FREE congress classes for Bengals.

This is a great opportunity for those Bengals that are chasing titles as they’ll only be competing against other Bengals in the congress class instead of all the other breeds of cats. This means there will be a much greater chance of your cat getting in the top 10 and getting points that count towards titles. The congress classes will be held on Saturday.

Don’t be put off if your cat isn’t TICA registered. They don’t have to be to attend their 1st TICA show. You can always choose to register later if you decide you want to continue showing.

For more info please visit the club web site and feel free to contact the show managers, entry clerk or myself if you have any questions or if you want help entering. Contact info can be found on the website.

Can't get to that show but I'm determined that I am going to attend a cat show somewhere in the next 12 months. I've never been to one in my life and have no interest in showing my own cats but I'd like to see what happens at a show.

I used to go to cat shows with my friend from school with her British Cream. It was a lot of fun but tiring. The main one was at Olympia. I would love to go to this one but it is a long way.

Yeah, that's what puts me off. I need to find one in the North West as my first experience. I may just go to the general Cumbria cat show some time as an intro.

Thanks - I've heard of that one so I'll try and remember to look out for dates next year. I'm not really plugged into the right networks to hear about local shows so I must make more effort in future.

Sorry Heidi for hijacking the thread

I'll let you off

The Lakeland & District Cat Club show is a good one to go to. We've done that one a few times. You've missed this years show though, I think it was July.

Thanks Heidi - I've bookmarked it for next year. I might join the Club and then presumably I'll get some info from them before the event!

I've also just discovered that the Cumberland Cat Club (www.cumberlandcatclub.co.uk) has a show on 9th October in Carlisle which I could go to, although I have to say that the info on their website is very limited to say the least!! It refers to "news and photographs throughout the website" but, unless I'm missing something, I can't find a single photo or very much news!

Come and stay at mine Ginny!!! Me and hubby went to this one last year, had a great afternoon spectating and meeting forum members. We're really lucky as this venue is about 10 miles from my house! There is another one in Dec at the Coventry Connexion as well, thats about 7 miles away from me, will be visiting that one as well!! xx
