I think you will get far more replies if you started your own thread. People often read the original message/post and reply not always reading what the last replay, or even all the replies first.
A breeder should know the pedigree of the kittens they produce as they should have researched them for compatibility and health reasons.
Originally domestic shorthairs, egyptian Maus, siamese and abyssinian breeds were used as the other cat in breeding bengals. Nowadays it is a bengal to ALC mating that is done. It will only be a Bengal when it is 4 generations away from the ALC.
