HCM testing (cost?)

I was enquiring about having my cats HCM tested. I know I had a ball park figure in my head... can anyone confirm any prices they have paid.. or refer someone? I called the local person on the FAB website and was astounded that for one cat it was £380

Any input would be most grateful from anyone who has had thier cats tested recently

Yes thats about right..
Im getting one of my girlies done in january...
Its not cheap by any stretch of the imagination.. and you have to get it re done every 12 months.. so if you have alot of breeding animals its a small fortune.... :shock:

I use Mark Patterson at Vale Referrals, Stinchcombe, Glos. My summer tests averaged out at around £200 each under the FAB scheme. They only do the HCM tests on a Friday

There is a practice in Winchester who are charging (I think) around £100 for the first cat and then less for the next although when I rang to enquire it was an offer they had on at the time so might not be valid now? Sorry can't be more specific, will try and find out again for you.
