I have 3 bengals, 2 males and 1 female. They are all about 7 months old. I scheduled an appointment to have them all 3 fixed at the same time, but the vet that I used couldn't do it for almost a month. And my breeder recommended doing them all together.

So the week before they were to be fixed, the female goes into heat. She reared herself and rolled around on the ground for 2 days straight. Obviously the boys got to her (I was out of town and my ex-wife was watching them and didn't keep them separated like I asked.. which is a whole issue in itself).

So it comes time to take them into the vet, but I feared she may be pregnant and don't agree having her lose them if she was. I had the 2 boys done and not her yet. It has been 22 days since the last day of her being in heat. I checked for pink swollen nipples and she does not appear to have them. She also hasn't gone back into heat. She runs around just like normal, if not crazier. Her appetite has picked up some, but thats about all the symptoms I can see.

Can someone share their expertise with me on this? Not sure if she is or isn't and I don't want to take her in until I know for sure.

It is far safer and kinder on her to have her neutered now whether she is pregnant or not. She is too young to have kittens. That will put a huge amount of strain on her young body. Plus they might b related which can mean the kittens are born with abnormalities.

Not sure why your breeder advised getting them done so late especially as you had boys and girl. They can be neutered from 8 weeks of age.

Be responsible and have her neutered ASAP. It will be safe. Kinder and better for her health.

You cannot know for sure unless you pay for a scan in a week or two, or wait till she gets fatter and can see babies move (around 7 weeks).

Doesn't matter as she can be neutered anyhow.

How long ago were the boys neutered?

And how long ago was she in heat whilst you were away?

Boys can still be fertile for up to 6 weeks AFTER neutering so she could still get pregnant.

Really it is fairly irresponsible to allow a 7 month old to carry through with a pregnancy. The best thing to do is to neuter her now, it is the best thing for her health and wellbeing.

She will be 22 days maximum from the date of her first heat.
At 7 months it is not worth the risk letting her go on with a pregnancy, the longer you leave it the bigger the op if she is in fact pregnant. It is a pity you have left it this long.
Your vet may be able to feel the kittens from 20 days onwards if she is pregnant.

As said older bengals have trouble with birthing and looking after them, 7 months old is like a 5 month old child for a bengal She may die giving birth or not look after them, why didnt you just neuter them from 12weeks of age? Are they related? Both boys got her, poor thing if she is calling then thank god it hasnt taken hold and she can be neutered now, her nipples arent pink and she is calling means she isnt in kitten, if you want to know get the vet to scan her before he neutered her and use a different vet, NO need to wait this long, why sint she booked in 3 weeks ago? Or this monday?? and vets not doing it for a month?! Sounds crazy! There are 5 vets in my small town alone surely there are others near you? She needs to be done ASAP, no questioning it really!
