I currently have a one week old brown marble kitten who is marbled everywhere from the tip of his tail to head and even on his belly He has no spots any where just a weird marbled pattern. Is this normal? will they break up into spots on his legs and belly? and If they don't on his belly will he not be showable as his belly is not spotted? Also At what age do ocelli fade on kittens? All of my one week old SBT kittens have it and it is very clear and very white.

I believe a patterned tummy is acceptable with marbled Bengals.
Ocelli or 'thumb prints' will normally fade or become darker in kittens after a few weeks. It's a difficult trait to breed into SBT's and is normally only seen in ALCs or EG cats.

they are so cute! they look like all bengal kittens, all mine were born with the oce but it just disapeared, cant remember what age as I just stopped looking at it!

Hi, yes all mine had the white spot on the back of the ears also, I was so excited until I was told they are all born with them , I also cant remember when they disappeared but I know they had definitely gone by the time they went to their new homes at 13 weeks.

I'm far from being an expert here but I dont think the spots will appear on the marble kittens tummy as they are born with them and when they are newborn and have little fur on their little tummies, it looks like they have been drawn on with a felt tip pen!

Maybe someone on the showing board may be able to advise if it would not be showable?
