HCM Screening

The girls are booked in for screening on Thursday morning, fingers crossed it all goes well!

I pay approx. £240 per cat. I think experience is worth a LOT when looking for a good cardio, and I have always been more than happy with the way my cardio (Dr. Mark Patteson at Vale Referrals) does the screening. He is very thorough, which is what you want when paying a lot of money for something so important. :wink:

Thanks Karen, I'm taking them to Sarah Smith Cardiology to see Sarah as it's only 1hr 20mins away so not too long to be stressed in the car

Well we took the girls to their screening today and they have both currently screened negative for HCM which is wonderful

. Sarah and all the staff were lovely and very friendly and the girls had an hour long appointment each for their screening so it was very thorough. The girls behaved themselves well although Luna got a bit wiggly at times :lol:

The results will be posted on the FAB site once Sarah sends off all the paperwork to them.

Thanks, I'm really pleased. I was feeling really nervous this morning, I was quite surprised how nerve wracking it is!
