SIX kittens, she's had another one!! No wonder she looked like a football on legs

No it's not too hot in there , its warm, the windows are open so don't worry she cant get out .

My husband made her a birthing box, which incidentally she didnt go anywhere near for 4 weeks until after the first one was born last night, and then decided it was acceptable.

The birthing box is 2ft'" square and 2ft tall with a hinged lid. The base is lined with newspaper with new Vetbed on top, the original one that lets any moisture flow through to keep the little ones dry. I used it for my pups and it was brilliant.

I'll weight them tonight at 5pm. She didnt mind me touching them and she's a right mummys girl and normally follows my every move and sleeps on my bed. When she started labour she kept pushing her face into mine for a kiss, bless her

sorry , you asked what colour.. they are all like Mum & Dad, Breed colour 7630, might be some marbles there but difficult to tell as they are so tiny xx

ahhh thats good, no they take no notice of birthing boxes, normally until a few day before or on the day fussy things!!

blimey!! that one took his time!!!

thats good, I wouldnt be too worried if the weights are a little smaller than normal due to the size of the litter

There's plenty of nipples for six on her milk bar. Mum's milk is best for them. Only intervene if any of the kittens are looking as if they are not getting enough (stomachs should be nicely rounded and a warm pinkish tone).

well done mum! gorgeous babies! ...I think Ill be making my way over to yours with a big old bag... I need a new brown bengal or two...
