Bennie is use to felix pouches but I am personally not that fond of the brand. Frankie is on Royal Canin sensitive pouches which I assume are not that good for a growing kitten. Has anyone tried Royal Canin Cat Pouch Kitten Instinctive or any other suggetions for me? or would the sensitive that Frankies on be ok?

I've never used Royal Canin I'm afraid so can't advise. The theory with kitten-specific food is that it's higher in calories which kittens need while they're growing. I did have my moggies on Hill's kitten pouches when they were younger but it got too complicated keeping the kittens on a different food from Dolly so I moved them all onto Bozita. The people who produce that say it's suitable for adults and kittens and that the kittens simply eat more to get their calorie intake.

I had issues with both Rooster and Huggy having sensitive tummies. I have gone from Royal Canine Kitten instinctive with hills biscuits to Bozita chunks in jelly with Applaws 80% meat biscuits and both are doing really well, thriving actually. Both have firm tummys now. I have moved away from anything with wheat adders etc. So high protein, low carb and no wheat. Seems to have fixed my boys.

Sorry, theres more. They like applaws too, but its not a complete food. so you would need to give them something else also with vitamins and minerals etc.

Java has eaten Royal Canin kitten pouches for most of the time that I've had her and done really well on it, never upset her at all (although plenty other stuff has!). I did try her on Felix but she turned her nose up at it and wouldn't eat it at all, no matter how much I tried, so that was a no go!
Just changed her over to the royal canin adult wet food and she seems to like that too so looks like we'll be sticking with it. Hope you find something they both like.
