I know this is a bit late, but in case it helps, here are some notes on cost for my crew.
I currently spend about 90-110 US dollars per month on 100% raw food. I believe that is around 55-61 pounds a month. I feed 4 cats right now. I feed whole foods for the most part, and buy about 80% of my meat just from various local human food stores. I order a bit now and again from a raw pet food company, but usually just whole meats or organs, not any of the premixed items (which drives my per pound cost up). If I am feeling productive, I will order large cases from a local food wholesaler, but that requires more time and storage room.
I buy a lot of cornish hen, stocking up when they are on sale, I do a bit of all natural chicken, rabbit (have to order that usually), quail, and sometimes I order mice and chicks, but those are a small percentage.
I feel like I am doing really good when I can average under 2 dollars a pound for meat, that's how I tend to gauge what I am buying for them. I do spend a lot more on quail and rabbit, but they only get that about once or twice a week.
My husband always wonders where my money goes, but I think he fails to notice the constant flow of new foods, toys, and such that trickle in around here.
