Hi everyone -

I am beginning clicker training my beautiful 12 week old snow bengal (never too early, right?). Any who, she doesn't seem to LOVE any of the treats I have offered her. This includes pieces of chicken I cooked and pulled apart.

Earlier today, I cooked some hard boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. My little bengal went CRAZY for them. She was hoping on my legs and attacking me to get ahold of those eggs.

I did a bit of research and it seems like all cats can have eggs, so I was thinking this may be the perfect treat to utilize when clicker training.

Does anyone know any more about feeding a bengal fully cooked eggs? Could there be any negative affects? Would this be a good treat?

If you have any other treat ideas, let me know! Thanks so much!!

Egg is a product in some of the cat foods, however, I don't believe there is much in there, so I don't know about feeding a cat an entire egg as a treat. I honestly don't see the point in trying to clicker train a cat unless you are going to go on a talent show and try to win a million dollars. It's great watching videos of cats doing neat things, but a cat is a cat and I am glad you have to patience to deal with this. Clicker training takes a lot of time, but I know my 9-year old bengal is not motivated to do anything he does not want to do.
