So basically, every single petsmart by me is constantly out of the simply nourish kitten chicken patte. One of the workers told me that that is their brand. I dont know if they are just repackaging, or going to chunks only and discontinuing the patte? But basically our two kittens wont touch the chunks. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good kitten chicken patte? Open to any ideas besides blue buffalo. There is no shortage of that brands kibbles though. The kittens love them. Thanks guys.

Ones I'd suggest (based on ingredients, "the eye and nose test", and how my 3 cats like it):

* Earthborn holistic
* Weruva
* Cats In The Kitchen (which i guess is also a Weruva brand, but less expensive)
* Tiki Cat

They all have excellent chicken flavors.

None of this stuff is sold at Petsmart (very little good cat food is imo) but you can order it online (chewy.com) or at most independent pet food stores.

I think pet store food prices are extremely high. Once you find something your kitties will eat, definitely order from Chewy.com. You can buy in quantity and they offer everything you need for your pet -- toys, beds, flea/tick medications, food bowls, dry food, Feliway, etc. etc. Their shipping is fast -- takes two days for me to get my order. Shipping is free if you spend $49. And if you have to call customer service, someone picks up the phone immediately. No going through "Press 1" or be put on hold.

Yeah i checked out chewy. They dont sell the food one of our kittens likes. I need to find something comparable. One of the cats like the pate and another likes chunkier bits.

My cats eat the venison almost exclusively but they have tried kangaroo and brushtail and love them both. They are not really into fish. I see that have rabbit and if my vet wants to switch proteins, we may go for rabbit next.

They never seem to tire of the venison and still beg for the plate of food.

35 cents per can? Wow that is great! I pay over $40 for a case of 24 three oz cans. Is that in Hollywood, FL or CA?

Oh, I see that's a name of a pet food store. We don't have them here. I get mine from Fins, Feathers & Fur, LOL.

I'm going to pick up more of the Frost Fish - I'm not sure why they have it so cheap right now, the cans still have quite a while before they expire.

We don't have many of the small pet stores where you can get the higher end food "Hollywood Feed" just opened a few months ago and they seem to be the best place to go. Of all the cans I bought I think the most expensive one was $1.53 but I'll have to check the receipt again.

Frost Fish is a new flavor we don't have here yet, or at least my local pet store doesn't have it. I think the calorie count is the lowest on that one.

Sometimes they do a 2-for-1 promo so I stock up because my cats go through 2 cases a month. When they rebranded from the name Mauri, the cases were half price until they used up the old inventory. I stocked up for a few months at that time. Now I am back to paying full price.

I have not found this food available from any mail order service. I looked at your Hollywood store online and they do not list it.
