It's a daily battle to get Luna to eat her food, the problem is, if she decides to leave it, we often forget about it and my other cat eats it as soon as he see's it, we feed in seperate rooms as it is and it's just getting me down now!
She WILL eat it eventually and she's weighs the recommended weight for her age and gender but this battle is getting boring!

Yea, Serafina is like that too. She's motivated by play, not food, and she's a "grazer" when she eats. So basically I ended up planning meals to suit her for the most part, over fears that she wasn't getting enough. At dinnertime I serve canned or raw food, and strangely she jumps up on the counter when I start putting it in the dishes, she gets a sniff, then jumps down. Then when I serve it, most of the time she eats a few bites, then runs off, and the other cats end up eating her portion. Ugh!

So here's the compromise solution that I ended up with: At dinner, Gaga gets raw food, and Serafina and Neytiri get small-ish portions of canned, with the understanding that chances are, Gaga and Neytiri will be supplementing their portions with Serafina's.

Then at breakfast I serve high quality dry food. So if Serafina didn't eat much dinner, she's definitely ready to eat for breakfast, and can graze on that over the rest of the morning.

It's not ideal, but it works...

Yes, Jagger is a grazer, he'll see I've put his food down, take a couple of mouthfuls and walk off. Can't even bribe jagger with treats (apart from sausages which my partner feeds him apparently). However, Hendrix has a sensitive tummy so I had to invest in microchip feeders to stop him eating Jagger's dry food so we don't have the problem that Hendrix also used to nick Jagger's dinner anymore. Expensive but life is much easier now! Plus the food stays fresh and doesn't dry up, and flies can't get to it either.

You've got a grazer! Mine is that way. There is no way I can schedule his feedings. He lets me know he is hungry and his bowl is empty throughout the day. Obviously your other cat enjoys to eat at one sitting. As long as your bengal eats and is the proper size and weight, then all should be well. I'm sorry your two cats are different -- but just like children, they have their own eating quirks and personalities.

Babbage is a grazer - you can put food down and he doesn't even go and take a look at it, but will eat it eventually.

That was a problem because Ada was ( this has evolved ) a gannet - miaowing for food started an hour before feeding time and she could do a good impression of a vacuum cleaner that had been tuned up by a Formula One mechanic. Seriously, I never saw her chew, she hoovered everything up whole.

Ada is now fully grown and much calmer with food, becoming a bit of a grazer too, so Babbage now probably gets his fair share of food.

It's nice to see other Bengals aren't food motivated.
I feed my 7 months kitten Blue Buffalo Wilderness , grain-free kitten food, 3/4 cup per day. She eats throughout the day and there is only a bit left the next morning. She has a water fountain to help with hydration and she drinks lots every time I brush my teeth or use the kitchen sink :)
I also give her a little bit of wet food for diner but she never finishes it. I have tried lots of different brands (all grain free high quality) and she never goes crazy for it.
I am trying to clicker train her but it's tough since she doesn't care much about treats.

As long as your kitty's weight is normal, I wouldn't worry to much. She is eating and drinking. Mine just eats small meals throughout the day and some times I don't think he eats enough, but he's healthy and a perfect weight, so I am not too worried.

Here's something I highly recommend - we used this when we had to provide special food for one of our older cats:

It's a Microchip based feeder that will only open for the cat with the microchip. If you don't have a microchip but have a collar; you can attach an RFID tag.
It's awesome for ensuring that only one cat gets the food. That being said - it can happen (if you have an aggressive cat) that they can get in by the side while the other is feeding. They have an extra cover you can ask for to stop that.
