Hi there! Any help would be great.... I recently bought two bengal kittens and within a week of coming to me have runny poos. The vet has yet to give anything that can help. I'm lost and don't want them to be sick. They are eating fine and drinking.

What has the vet checked out so far, and what is his/her suggested next course of action?

This is a familiar story on here. My kittens had this problem and nothing showed up at the vet exam. After months of vet visits and runny poo they gave them antibiotic which took care of the problem. I still put a probiotic in their food at 2 years old. It makes me wonder if most kittens have this issue.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your babies. Know that runny poo can stem simply from the stress of going to a new environment. Everything in their world has been turned upside down. They left their mommy and siblings and the only home they ever knew to a new home with new smells, new people. It can be overwhelming. If the vet has found nothing medically wrong, then it will just take some time for it to clear up. The other thing is that you have, hopefully, been feeding them the same food the breeder fed them. Any change in diet must be transitional with introducing the new food in with the food they have been eating. That can also cause stomach upset. Know that down the road, you may encounter parasites that give the kitties runny poos. I don't know about giving new kittens a probiotic. I give Raiden his daily as he has a problem with soft stools, but he's 9 years old.

Hopefully, your situation will clear up soon as they settle in.

99% sure this is stress because of the big moving day! No mother, no siblings, new smells,... especially Bengals have a weak GI track.
Also: they play, eat and drink like normal. So I really think this is because of the rehoming.

Do you still give the same food as the breeder? This is important for the first weeks.

Another tip: My Gin did have some runny poo problems because of the food he ate. After a throughly screening for parasites(!), I slowly transitioned him to a raw food diet. His poop is very firm now without any smell Be sure to do your research if you want to try this.

That was a cut and paste from previous post, saved typing, in my situation that worked for about 1 month, then the same problem, put both on same antibiotic again for longer time and cleared up, been good for 6 months plus. Antibiotic was met..? search my name on this forum and you will find it. To be clear, I was talking about real runny,,,, was are talking all over the house.....

It has been about a week since the original post. Hopefully things have cleared up! I'm sure your vet asked you to bring in stool samples to be tested. Normally, however, if there is a parasite present, the kitties don't feel very well. Since they are playing and eating fine -- making sure they are on the diet the breeder gave them -- things should be improving.
