Cat treats

How often do you give your cats a treat and what kind of treat?
I give them each a cat stick a day and they both get 3-5 pieces of cosma snacks a day. My Uncle Is a hunter and he butchers the meat. He has vacuum sealed hearts,livers and lungs for me to give to the cats. I think its from lamb and bucks. But I don't quite know how to feed it to them. Cut small pieces and add it to the food?

Hi there, we give our two kittens Healthy Bites Nutri Booster kitten treats every day which they love. Just a couple each.

I'm not really sure how 'healthy' they are but I got these to help with the bonding process with my 12 year old son as he is the only one who feeds it to them.

I have tried giving my two all sorts of different cat treats and they aren't interested in any of them! They either just play with them or ignore them completely. They do go crazy for little bits of cooked ham or chicken from the fridge though so that's what I treat them with now

Actually I remember now a friend of mine came over just before Christmas to meet my new kittens and she brought with her some of those little sticks.

They went absolutely bonkers for them :eek:

And one of them pinched a whole stick, ran off with it in his mouth and sat there growling lol.

Not sure what's in them to get such a strong reaction!

God yes, webbox cat sticks... Hendrix will kill for those. I don't generally let him have them as I don't think they have any actual nutritional value to them. I did let them have some for Christmas though.

I usually let them have thrive freeze dried chicken treats or a small tin of applaws between them - not sure they'd go for raw and I don't want to handle it!!

I have bought the expensive, healthy treats for Raiden and he turns his nose up at them. He likes the junkie stuff (takes after his mom). He's always begging for treats and I give him a couple a few times a day.

I looked up Webbox cat sticks. I'd love to try them but cannot find a US supplier. Has anyone in the US used them?

Thank you for the link. Quasar does not like fish or liver and is blasé about chicken. I could do the chicken ones but $11 for 4.2 oz of treats is beyond my means!
I'd get them at maybe half price but that price is just too steep for me.

Phaedra is the one that goes bonkers when she sees or hears the cat sticks! She will try grabbing it with her claws and yes she has poked my fingers a couple of times. I give them catassy sticks..i mist admit they are cheap and its like junk food for cats. But i also buy them the cosma 100%meat freezer dried. They love those aswell. I just dont quite get the package. It says 3-5 pieces a day...but one piece can be sooo tiny while another piece is a huge chunck. I use these in the Trixie activity games where they must do something to get the snack.

I might try them but they don't list the ingredients. I don't want to give my cats junk food. Although Grace just ate another plastic toy. That can't be good.

Magic loves the little cat sticks I give him a couple a day, he also Likes Felix goody bag treats I give him a few of them, for a bit healthier treat he likes good girl kitty-delishy chicken bites they are dried chicken 89% real chicken.
