Hello again.
I have been posting on here quite a lot this week, I apologise!! I am just so new to the Bengal breed and have a lot of questions and concerns.
So my 5 month old Bengal boy is having runny poo at the moment.
The breeder told me she has been feeding him raw chicken necks, whole, 3 meals a day. Plus dry food.
He ignores the chicken necks I give him. He isn’t interested and doesn’t seem to be able to eat them, even when cut into smaller pieces.
I have been giving him mostly cooked chicken breast, which he is eating. I know this isn’t a complete meal or at all nutritious, but as soon as I mix in a little raw chicken liver, raw beef or wet kitten food, he gets runny poo.
Can anyone please recommend what I should be feeding him so he can have firm poo’s again?
I can’t force him to eat the chicken necks because he just doesn’t want them, and I work during the day so I can’t leave raw food sitting out all day.
Should I continue with only cooked chicken breast for now, along with his dry food? Maybe for a week or so, see how he goes, and then incorporate some raw meats slowly, or a high quality wet food?
