I am currently preparing for my new cat to come home - does anyone have an f1 or f2 who eats grass? I wanted to grow some in a pot, but did not know if it is something he would even look at? Thanks

I think ALL cats nibble on grass, even the wild cats. Raiden loves to check out a spot in our yard and nibbles out there. I've tried growing cat grass for him and he doesn't care for it at all.

LOL! I have to leave a patch of long grass when I cut the lawn, for Merlin to chew on (which he will then sick up on my carpets....) I tried cat grass, and he thought it was awful and dug it all out from the windowsill planter and spread it across the kitchen floor! Brat! :diablo:

Very true Sherry - you are right , I often see big cats on documentaries biting at grass! Jodonut - haha, typical bengal behaviour, being naughty!! I will grow some grass in a pot, but use normal grass seed

Yesterday, Raiden spotted a tall batch of grass and was nibbling away on it like he couldn't get enough of it! I hear it helps with digestion.

We recently got some cat grass for our girl and she just loves it! Will have to get more for her as she has eaten the two plants we got down to soil level

I've bought the cat grass in containers and even grown it from seeds and Raiden will not touch it! He'd rather find a tall blade of grass in the yard and nibble on that. We have our yard fertilized every other month and am sure it's not good for him.
