My cats have been eating Wellness Natural Grain Free Wet Canned Cat Food (Turkey Entree bits in rich gravy- single protein) for a few months and they loved it until about a couple of weeks ago. Now suddenly they walk away and take a long time to eat the food. I am almost out and about to order a new case of wet food and thought maybe I should try something different? They also have Origins dry food and seem to love that although lately they have not been finishing that either. They are about two weeks away from being one year old. Maybe they are starting to become picky eaters? They are right there waiting for food and seem uninterested when I put it down. They have always been veracious eaters.

Anyway if you have discovered a good quality food that your cat loves, let me know. Maybe they just need a change.

Mine are very partial to Weruva, Tiki Cat, and Earthborn Hollistic canned foods. They like about half the flavors of each. One thing all three of those foods have in common is that they are not pate style, but rather chunky or shredded, or soupy types of foods.

Mine started out on Wellness as well, but like yours decided it wasn't for them.

Thanks Brian. I am going to try Weruva variety pack 3 oz cans and see if they spark any interest. They don't want the second half of a large can after it has been in the refrigerator. I don't think Blondie is too keen on fish and Tiki looks like it is mostly fish. I appreciate the recommendations otherwise I would be looking at attractive packaging and trying to make out the small print ingredients and guessing. That doesn't always guarantee the cat will like it either. Grace really likes people food and I suspect she wants more of that (liver, chicken, turkey, beef). Most of that is too exotic for Blondie, she prefers cat food or a little chicken.

BB will eat most of the wellness flavors and Innova turkey and chicken. But she refuses anything else and refuses anything with any type of fish. I know weird, right? She actually JUST started eating wet food since we have got Mochi. He is on Royal Canin 1st stage kitten and she LOVES it. I have went through every food at petsmart trying to find what she will eat and wellness is the only thing sold there she will touch. I don't think 1st stage kitten food is appropriate for her so I have tried everything to keep her from gobbling down Mochi's. I also ordered innova from chewy.com because that's the dry food they are on and she seems to like it as well. I'm trying to keep the foods on a cycle so she doesn't get used to just one flavor. So needless to say I feel your pain lol

Diesel doesn't care for the fish either, but our moggies love it. That's the one food I can put down and he won't eat it LOL. He loves the beef, chicken and turkey varieties. I tried some that had duck in it once and none of the cats were keen on it at all.

We don't feed wet food daily so it's more of a treat for them, but I pick up a variety of flavors of the higher end wet foods whenever they go on sale at PetCo or PetSmart. They love the cheap stuff too (Friskies pate)

Raiden gets picky at times as well. I keep trying to introduce different brands (mainly the grain-free) and he will eat some of it, but never finishes up a can. I usually pick up a couple of cans of Wellness and Blue Wilderness when I'm at Tractor Supply and intersperse them into his diet. I guess just like humans, cats don't want to eat the same thing day after day. Raiden gets an assortment of chicken, turkey, and beef flavors and seems to be okay with them. I don't buy cases of any one particular type of food because I'm sure he's going to switch around on me!
