Have you phoned the manufacturers consumer line or taken it back to see if it is a dodgy batch?
I had this before with Gourmet, they replaced the box, and it was fine. I had got a batch from an 'end run' which had almost no meaty chunks, just gooey gravy. Fartface loved the gravy overdose, but I wasn't happy there was no real food in it...

I use Miamor but the kitten one with chicken. It's higher meat content than the others.

Not noticed anything different with it at all....
