So my boy is coming up on 6 months here soon.
He eats SO much. When we first brought him home he was waking me up every day at 7 or 8 begging for food, even though I would always make sure to leave him with plenty the night before. Most of it is dry food. I give him half a can of wet food at night around dinnertime, and usually that's gone in a matter of minutes. Usually, in the day, he comes to me for his dry food in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, a few hours after he's done with dinner. Whenever I put dry food in I try not to put too much in, but its usually never enough for him.
A few people told me not to limit the food because he's a growing boy. He's not getting fat, and he was dewormed before we brought him home, so I doubt it's that.
I was just wondering when I should start limiting how much he eats. He's a pretty big cat for his age (lengthwise) and obviously I don't want to hinder his growth into a cat, so I'm just curious. This is the first pet I've ever owned since being out on my own so I'd like to not screw this up, haha.
