My Loki is about 10 months and we've noticed he's been scratching around his ears a bit. Vet said his ears were clean and that it may be either allergies or dry skin. She gave him an allergy shot to see if it would help. I know food is a biggie for allergies. He's already grain free though... We feed him canned Wellness grain free turkey and then as a "snack" mid day (or for when he snubs the wet food) we feed him dry food "Taste of the Wild" which is also grain free. I wonder if there is something I could add to his food to help with the possibility of dry skin (it's been really cold here, we've tried to run the humidifier as much as we can)? Also, is it possible that he has allergies beyond the tradition grain issue? I apologize if the question has been asked before. Hoping to get opinions.
Thanks :)
