As long as he is drinking plenty then he will be fine. I have always fed mine a little wet food too, as dry alone can lead to kidney problems in the later years. I would choose grain-free dry food though

I think the most critical thing is to make sure he drinks enough water with the dry. The next thing I would look for is that the protein in the food is coming from a meat source and not grain-based (e.g. some type of gluten or vegetable protein). Here in the US there can be all kinds of junk in cat food to be aware of and watch out for, but I think the regulations are bit stricter over in Europe.
