I thought I'd stick this post up to other new bengal owners like myself, I'm not saying it'l work for everyone, but just that it did for me.

I've had my two kittens now for about 3 months and was really struggling with what to feed them as they constantly had diareoh. I tried most tinned and pouch food all of which made no difference. I took them to the vets which also showed up no problems.

I was shopping one day and stumbled across a brand of food called Hi-Life, it comes in tins or pouchs and the meat value is over 70%. I bought a few tins of this and within a few days the diareah had cleared up and they generally look much healthier.

I'd recommend the food to everyone who doesn't want to go the full way and feed them a raw diet. There is also another brand called natures menu which seems to be as good as I have also since tried that.

I tried Applaws kitten with chicken, that was another good one, but i can't buy it anywhere..so i've stuck at the Felix, although i very rarely see a 'normal' poo.

I think it's good to stick to a food they like, and that you're happy to give. Kittens also take a long time to become 'regular' - anything up to a year, apparently...so only 7 months to go!

Almo Nature do a kitten variety, with that same amount of meat as Hi life (i.e no rubbish) so i will be trying that soon, too.

If you're interested in supplementing with a dried food that is good and natural, i'd recommend Burns (duck and rice for kittens)
William likes them, so does Saffy, my 2 1/2 year old.

Chaos is faring fine on Royal Canin dry food, with some other brands he has soft stools

We had a problem with our Anisa. She had diarrhea shortly after her rabies jab and we tried different diets, probiotics etc.. We now feed all of our cats 'Orijen'. (not cheap, but excellent food & worth it imo) They love it, and tummy problems are a thing of the past

AnnC - how do you get Chaos to stay on day food and dry food only? Both my cats like the wet food too much, if i leave just a bowl of dry food down all day, they look at me as though i'm starving them..

I have never kept cats on dry food alone. They have a little wet food once in the morning and once in the evening too

Virginie feeds her cats 'Bozita' wet food which they seem to be thriving on (and love it!) Also available at zooplus
