I think you'll find most suppliers would be delivering on a week day - is there any way of making arrangements for someone else to take delivery?
I've just had a taster box from Raw to Go delivered - it was well packaged in a polystyrene box with ice and bubble wrap but you're probably right that it wouldn't be too good left out for a long time. It's totally different stuff to Prize Choice. I used to feed mine raw but the supplier ceased trading so I tried some Prize Choice - even though my, cats were used to raw food, they wouldn't touch it, plus it didn't really look very natural if that makes any sense. I gave up raw feeding until someone posted about Raw to Go on Facebook and I got my taster pack on Tuesday. So far, 3 of the cats are gobbling it down straight away. Alfie is the only one who isn't keen but he's never had raw before so it may take time with him.
I suppose what I'm saying is that it could be worth trying to make arrangements if you decide it's what you want to feed your kitten.
You could try Natural Instincts too - they're more pricey than Raw to Go and I don't know what their delivery arrangements are but could be worth enquiring.
