I changed my Bengals food to Blue Buffalo from 9-lives (which is what she ate before I got her) she seems to be doing very well on it. Is Blue Buffalo a good quality food for bengals?

IMO it is, yes. For the dry portion of their diet, mine are fed primarily Blue Wilderness. They seem to be most partial to Duck and Trout. I tried mine on the canned Blue Wilderness and none of them cared for it, so I buy different canned food, but only due to taste, it's good stuff otherwise. I've also heard many people here also say that the feed Blue, it seems to be one of the more popular brands of the bengal owners on the US side.

I don't know how long ago that was or if they've fixed the problem, but I don't buy any of their products any more.

*sigh* thanks for the link. That is definite news to me, and it's relatively recent (this last May). Geez, the petfood industry really is a mess, but I suppose it always was. Thankfully mine mostly eat wet food, but sheesh, I will have to re-examine the dry food situation now. Although I suppose that going forward they will have to improve their food as a result of this now that it is public, but trust is kind of broken now. I hope they get hit with huge fines for misleading the public like that, not to mention get crushed in the law suit. It's kind of the VW-gate of the petfood industry.

Geez, I just don't know what to feed Raiden. He won't finish a small can of anything that's good for him. I've got two containers of leftovers to give the raccoons who eat quite well at my house. I'm going on Chewy.com today to look around at foods. I just don't want to buy 12 or 24 of anything that Raiden may not like and I'm stuck with it. I wish they would offer sample sizes of dry food so you can try it on your cat and not buy an entire bag that will go to waste.

I wasn't aware of that about Chewy ..... but now that I know, I'll be more apt to try something new for Raiden. I just ordered more of the crappy food that he will finish until I have more time to peruse their website! Gave him some Wellness chicken this morning and he ate some of it, but now won't touch the rest of it. I've wasted hundred of dollars on the good stuff and I've had not much luck in the time I've had him. Thing is, Raiden's coat is like silk and I can tell he's getting a thicker pelt for winter.

Lily seems to be loving the limited ingredient food I've been feeding her since I started feeding it to her based on a concern for food allergies. She seems healthy enough. I'm disappointed in the Blue Buffalo thing because that was our goto food for the longest time... Now I feel the need to tell the pet store we always go to.

I've never had issues with Lily turning her nose up at food (I buy a different brand or flavor every bag to protect against that), but would it be cruel and unusual to just leave the "undesired food" out until your kitty caves and eats it out of desperation?!

Mine are FINALLY stable on Blue Buffalo Freedom Indoor. I can't change them again. They started refusing the Merrick after a few bags smelled funky. They were on Taste of the Wild, but we found out they had corn allergies. We switched to Evo, which then got sold and went to shite.... We stopped that one after the fourth salmonella out rest was reported. Max has IBS and both have multiple allergies. I tried everything I could find before they finally accepted this one. So, unfortunately,we only have the BB Freedom available. This sucks!

N00dle, hope it lasts. They can love a food for a week, several months or years and then turn their noses up! I'm wondering if the manufacturer might change something in there products. I had not thought of that previously.
