There are a variety of colours to chose from nowadays, the main colours being:

Brown Spotted
Spots should be random or aligned horizontally

Rosetted
These markings have a part circle of spots round a larger spot.

Marbled
These markings are a swirl like pattern, similar to that of a tabby. The markings should be aligned horizontally.

Snow spotted
Similar to the brown spotted, but instead have a variety of cream, ivory shades to their coat.

Snow marbled
Similar to the normal marbled bengal, but instead have a variety of cream, ivory shades to their coat.

Silver
This is the newest colour/markings of the bengal breed to be introduced. They have beautiful silver shades to their coat. The silver colouring is the result of an inhibitor gene, that takes out the yellow pigment in the coat.

What colour you decide to go for, is all down to preference. I know mine is most definately the brown spotted or rosetted markings.

My favorite is the brown spotted... although my first bengal is going to be a silver spotted since my fiance is so infatuated with that color.

No matter the color, they're all gorgeous to me.

I know, I am an oddball, but for me its marble all of the way!!!

Big, bright rosettes on a "gold" background!! These cats amaze me with their beauty every day. There were four Bengals and my moggy boy in the kitchen with me yesterday, and I don't think I've ever seen anything more beautiful than all those two-toned rosettes (screaming for food )

Especially the pawprint rosettes like this kid's

I love them all. I would love to get a brown marbled female someday. Our boys are BST's--used to have heavy gold glitter all over. I hope that will return. We got them both because they were from a litter where they were the only two in the litter and we didn't want to separate them. Its a good thing because Kaly is very dependent on Koby being there for him. Kaly is the shy, skittish one because they had to take the kittens away from their mom early due to an maternal, post-birth infection. Poor Kaly, he is so jumpy and insecure. My husband, Gordon, still wants a silver--not just any silver, but one of Linda Evan's or Earl's silvers. Sure I would like one of those, too, but I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon. <G>
Their catteries are only a few miles up the highway from us, but all I would be able to do is drool all over the kittens and leave. I don't think that would be too sanitary for the cats. haha

My youngest sister has two F2 Brown marble rescue brothers that she saved, two spotted snows-- a seal mink and a seal lynx that share the same sire as our boys-- a BST (she had to have one after taking care of our kittens for a week. We nearly didn't get to bring ours home again. lol). Those are just the Bengals. She also has two domestics (you Brits call them moggies, I believe) that are very beautiful and a old-style young special kind of siamese. I can't remember what they are called, two dogs, a grown daughter, two boys in their pre-teen/teen years and a husband who works hard to support it all. Whew!

We love cats-especially the Bengals, even with the extra care that they sometimes require. They are all special no matter what color.

I got her from Bailiwick Bengals. Robin is a good friend of mine, and asked me if I'd take a few of kittens home to play with them (she knows that I spoil them<g>) and I saw this kid. I couldn't hear anything Robin was saying, because I was looking at this cat. Of course, she wasn't for sale, but she was one of the ones coming to my house...

For about a week I wore Robin down with phone calls and emails several times a day, and "you can always repeat the breeding" until she finally said yes! Of course, she also told me that I was lucky that she couldn't see her at the moment... I sent her pictures of the other kittens, but not that one (I'm a stinker)

I can't wait to see what kind of kittens she gives me next year!

Also, she has decided that riding around on my shoulders is the way to go. She flops over my neck, and nuzzles my nose. She's the ultimate accessory to any outfit LOL. Those pics were taken at nine weeks old, I need to get new ones up.

Sorry for babbling, I'm just so thrilled with her!
