I think they are beautiful, however 'many breeds but this is their favorite' sounds a bit wiffy to me. (although some breeders breed another breed of animal but not normally many)

I like lots of different breeds of cat dogs and horses but it doesn't mean that I want or feel like I should breed them. I don't have the room let alone the time for another breed.

I had a problem at the start of the year with a few too many kittens not being sold so I was advised to neuter and reduce the price. By March they had all gone to their new homes.

If nothing else, ask to see the registration slips of both mum and dad and that they are not photocopies and are TICA green slips or GCCF pink slips.

hi bought my bengal boy nearly a year ago now and my girl is a half bengal she is beautiful i did not intend to breed them but some how he has managed to get hold of her but i dont beleive in making money off of the kittens so i will be given them to new home whatever there markings if they look full bengal then great but i feel that because its a whoops litter that they should find good homes so offering them to people who i feel can look after them is better then a few quid i am looking into becoming a breeder i love bengals and there markings always appeal to me but i feel without papers does not matter aslong as you give these kittens a forever home and your not looking into breeding then you should be fine :)

Was wondering...If you had a litter of kittens and knew they were pure bred but the parents wernt registered...is there any way the 'breeder' could register the litter? like getting blood tests of the litter?

Or you know these people who buy 2 bengals who have papers, but papers are ticked not for breeding, and then breed them anyways, would THAT litter be able to get registered because their parents are??

Cus if they shouldnt of been bred then surley you shouldnt be allowed to register any potential litters with TICA ect? x

You can only register them if both parents are on the active register.

You can register a household pet with TICA - which needs no proof of anything

so if your bengal was on the active register, you would have its normal papers from TICA and something else to say its a registered breeding cat? x

No, your registration papers from TICA would indicate that you can breed from them. My cats are registered with GCCF and the ones that are pets say 'no progeny to be registered'. The two that are breeding girls say 'Active' on theirs.
