Hi,

I recently purchased 2 bengal kittens from a breeder in the UK. They were 8 weeks and 10 weeks old. The breeder is only registered with TICA. She said GCCF only allow kittens to be sold from 12 weeks onwards, but TICA allow kittens to be sold from 8 weeks onwards.

Can you please clarify if this is correct?

Nope that's incorrect

TICA is from 12 weeks
GCCF is from 13 weeks

Ask to see parents TICA registrations (if they are not for breeding it will say it on the slip) and also a copy of her TICA prefix ....no decent UK TICA breeder would sell them at that age. Leads me to think they might not be legit.
