Hi! I am getting a Bengal Kitten sometime this summer, and I am trying to decide what I would like now. I found a breeder and I am actually going to meet the kittens there Tuesday, and I will definitely be buying from them soon. What are the differences between the male and female? I do have a male dog currently, but he will be moving out soon with my older sister so if its needed I can keep them separated until she moves. I read that males do tend to get a bit bigger, size does not really matter, I just want a quality playful kitten! Thank you!

I think it's really a preference thing. I have both a female and a male, and the biggest difference I find is that Aleya is a little more moody than Finnegan, and he is a little more layed back. They both love to play, and are both just as loving as the other. So I think you should meet some of the kittens that are available and pick the one you bond most with :)

From the experience my husband and I have had with cats in general we have found the males to be more outgoing than the females. Not that the females aren't loving and playful, they just tend to be a little more moody and shy around new people.
