As explained in my presentation I am French and I want a bengal.
A breeder offered me one of her kittens after parents of very good quality at only 550 euros.
She dropped the price because it is very small, so she gave it to his daughter and he does not have his pedigree.
 
It is still small and fuzzy. He had coryza when he was very young and her mother to a herpes.

So who sells his daughter and not the brooder. So I think I would not have insurance for the future.

Do you think this is a good deal?

It leaves me only this proposal until Sunday

Not sure of the going rate in the Eurozone, but we are paying $1800 CDN for 2 pets, meaning they will be spayed / neutered. We will receive papers for them, and some of screening / vaccinations. Not sure how papers effect insurance though? Should just be a feline to the insurer.

What a gorgeous kitten! Sounds like a pretty good deal at 550 euros. I don't know a lot about coryza but feline herpes is generally not a big deal. I've had cats with it in the past and aside from the occasional sneezes and weepy eyes the cats lived long, healthy lives.

How old is the kitten?

I do not understand why they have no papers? Just because the breeders daughter has the kitten does not mean there should be no papers.

Whilst Herpes is not the end of the world, it can lead to long term issues. These will not be insurable though you may get insurance that would exclude Herpes related issues.

Not sure what the going rate in France is for Bengals but in the UK that would not be considered much of a reduction at all. You can get a Bengal, papered, from HCM tested parents for around the same money.

To me it doesn't really make sense to compromise on health just to save a few euros (if I understand what you are asking). Don't get me wrong, there are times when getting a cat with known health problems is a noble thing, like from a shelter or whatnot, to give the cat a chance and provide him a home, but when you are dealing with breeders, and getting a pedigreed cat, and still paying a lot of money, no, to me the one thing I'd look at above all else would be health. If you still want to give such a cat a change, maybe counter offer that you would like to take the cat off their hands and give him a good home for free
