After waiting for what seems like forever the breeder has finally put photos up on her website of her newest kittens. I can't wait to pick one. Obviously personality is important, so I won't pick until I have visited the kittens myself. However, assuming they are all friendly, healthy, bouncy kittens, which one do you think I should pick?

Absolutely gorgeous - I personally would go for boy 2 off the top litter - He has some unusual linked markings on his lower back, and no rib bars!
HOWEVER - If I could meet them, I would go and let one of them pick me!
I can just see it now....Oh dear - they all pick you.... then get the bank manager on the phone!

This website is not complete, there is no mention of the pedigrees of the cats, no mention of health testing for HCM or PK defic. Her website is not finished despite having her stud cat since 2009 so she is not a new breeder, but she has of course managed to put up her kittens for sale...
How much do you actually know about this breeder apart from her spiel on her "about us" page?
She is not on FB either, that I can find.

Tread carefully is my advice.

I agree with Elaine, all of the kittens look really nice but if the breeding cats are not screened I would walk away! IMO their prices are rather steep to come from unscreened lines!

Yes the prices are very steep.
Look at the parents, that is what the kittens will end up looking like.
They are OK, but they are not really spectacular compared to most Bengals these days.

I'm sorry guys some of you seem really concerned, I should have explained. I live in New Zealand. We only have a handful of Bengal breeders to choose from. I did plenty of research and I have been to visit this breeder.
The reason her website is incomplete is it crashed a few weeks ago. She is getting a friend of her to help her set up a new one, but in the meantime she wanted to put up the pictures of the kittens because a lot of people on the waiting list (including me) wanted to see pictures of them.
The prices seem really steep but that is a mistake on her website, I called her about it and she said there's no way she would charge me $3500 for a pet kitten, and that her price is still $900-$1500.

Personally I think the kittens have outstanding markings!!! I will be the first to admit they far outdo my girl!!! They will have nice open donut rosettes! It also appears that only a few have barring which is not very common with open rosettes!! I was just commenting on health screening more so than their appearance and the price is a lot, I understand now that they are not common therefore worth more! If it were me I would pick the first kitten! If I were in a place where I had to pay that much for a "pet" Bengal, I wouldn't think twice about it!! The breed is priceless to me and I will never live a day without a bengal!

They're all lovely, which did you end up choosing?

I got to pick one today! Unfortunately two kittens "chose" me by falling asleep on my lap. One was a girl, the other a boy. I had to decide between them which was heart breaking (I cannot afford two Bengal kittens!). I went for the boy. The breeder told me he was the friendliest of the litter, and in a previous visit I had noticed he had the best personality.

The only reason I was a bit hesitant to pick him was because he has a slightly shorter tail that looks like it is missing one or two vertebrae. But personality is more important than looks... and when he sticks it up it is adorable because it's so short.

Gorgeous! A short tail is considered desirable according to the standard in Bengals. Good luck and Congrats!
