Hey guys,
Looking to add a new Bengal kitten to my home..I've been researching breeders who are registered with TICA,etc. Upon a couple google searches, it seems like the Ontario Bengal breeders have a lot of drama...one of the registered catterys here apparently stole 4 kittens several years back :S Was wondering if there were any fellow Ontario people here who might have bought a bengal from somewhere here, or have heard good things about a particular breeder?

Hello! I also live in Ontario. I purchased my kitten from Rock on Bengals. If you look at her website, it is seriously lacking and is rarely updated.. If you want to discuss things with her, or see her cats, its better to just contact her through the website.
My kitten, Yuki, is now 8 months old and is amazing! She is exactly what Bengals are described as; active, intelligent, social and of course, drop dead gorgeous!!

I have also heard great things about Summerside Bengals.

If you do a google search for breeders in Ontario, you can pick through them much more easily. That way you can contact the ones that you are most interested in and find the right breeder for you.

Make sure the kitten comes from HCM(annual testing) and PK defic (One off testing) tested parents. Both diseases are pretty common in the breed, so not really worth the risk of getting kittens from breeders that do not test. Ask for copies of the reports as it is not unknown for breeders to make up results or fail to keep testing up to date.

What kind of bengal are you looking for? There are a bazillion in ON. Some specialize in different kinds.

I got one from Wendy at Summerside Bengals in Kitchener, she was great to deal with, and my boy from her is super healthy with a wonderful disposition.

I also got my boy Kai from Wendy at Summerside Bengals, she was great to deal with and I can't say a bad thing about my experience with her. If you take a look at her site she does have beautiful bengals that's for sure.
