Looks great to me!! I VERY much doubt that any breeder than scans doe HCM wouldn't be registered with tica!!! They have beautiful cats and kittens! Also the prices seem dead on to me! I have done my fair share of kitten searching and quite frankly I wouldn't pay more than 1000 for a kitten! They have very nice kittens and they seem to be responsible breeders, but you have to remember that at this point there are WAY to many people that claim to be responsible flooding the market with kittens, registered or not! In all honesty I wouldn't have concerns but I think talkin to the breeder will answer a lot of your questions also plan a trip to the cattery if they will allow it! Best of luck to you and for what it's worth I think you are on the right path

In terms of prices, they seem on par with what I have seen for kittens of that quality from breeders with that many studs and queens. (And I don't mean that negatively in any way.) $650+ is the standard I have seen in the six months or so I seriously looked for a pet kitten. They have beautiful cats and kittens and a pretty nice website.

Call them and Go for a visit if you are curious! Ten minutes in to a visit you will learn far more about the cats, the program, and if you want to give them money than you ever could from checking out their website or e-mails.

And I second Elaine's comment about getting to know the breed too!

I would also say it looks legit to me. $650 works out as around £430 i think, my first breeder generally sold kittens for £400 - £550 depending on quality. The breeders were hcm screened / pk def tested and she is a reputable breeder. So to me a starting price of $650 seems perfectly normal.

From the website i don't see any warning signs at all to be honest but like others have said, the best thing you can do is just ask for a visit. You will then know whether you are happy with the breeder and the condition of their cats. Ask for the HCM screening reports and to meet the other cats too. Any reputable breeder wouldn't have an issue with this.

As Elaine said, prices vary hugely depending on where you are and also what type of kitten is currently the most desired. For example when i bought my brown boy, although he was the same standard as the snows in his litter, the breeder currently had greater demand for the snows and therefore the browns were being sold at a lower price.

I think it also very much depends on the breeder themselves, whether they are breeding because they just love the breed and want to develop it as best as they can or whether they are more interested in the profit they can gain from it.

On my latest search for a new kitten, i was quoted prices from as low as £450 to as high as £1250 all for pet quality kittens....

I live in the USA...Utah. I purchased Quasar for $650 last July. By the end of the summer, she had 5 beautiful silver spotted tabby kittens priced at $500, spayed & vaccinated. This was purely because she was having trouble moving them. They were gorgeous kitties and she did do health screening, etc. I wouldn't discount this breeder because of low prices.

I wish i could say i could visit any breeder, but i live in PUERTO RICO and there is not a single breeder here in PR so that's why im so cautious about this.

Being that you can't visit in would call the breeder and talk to him/her personally! I am not sure about everyone else but in my opinion you can get a lot more from someone with a real conversation vs email or text! I honestly think you should be ok! If you are wanting to have a kitten shipped and if you are not satisfied with this breeder I am positive someone can help you along with finding one! Good luck and keep us updated please!
