Bengal Kitten

I am thinking about putting a deposit on a 4 week old Bengal kitten. The breeder just sent me some pictures of him. Im not that familiar with the colors/markings of a Bengal. I know the basics but not what they are supposed to look like as babies. She said that the big chunky spots would be a reddish color rosetted center. Just wondering what you guys think? I'm gonna try to link the picture.

He looks like a bengal kitten to me! Their coats change an immense amount as they grow up.

If you haven't already - I would really really really recommend visiting this breeder's home before making any financial commitments. This cat may be with you for 15+ years, you want to do all you can to ensure your kitten comes to you healthy and well socialised :smile:

I am going to her house Wednesday to see it and talk to her :) I don't know if I will put a deposit on it or not yet. It depends on what I find out then. She didn't have to much listed on her website so I wanted to meet in person to ask since she lives so close to me.

Well done for making the decision to have a Bengal own you!

Please make sure the breeder can provide current scans for HCM and PK def too.

If you need more info on these conditions there are "sticky" threads in the health section, or ask away if you have questions.

There is much more to getting a kitten than the markings, and so much help and advice available here.

Can I ask whereabouts you are? It helps to at least know which country you are in.

Thank you! Oh, I know this was more of a fun post about its color/markings. I am more interested in the temperament/personality and I will be asking about the health testing. We are stationed in Georgia right now and are back and forth from there to Tennessee visiting family. So either of those states is where I have been looking. I have been talking to another breeder here in Tennessee and everything she has said sounded good. I would love it if someone from here could look at her website and see what they think? I have been corresponding through email with her for a few weeks now and have liked what she has said.
