Does anyone have experience with dreampaws bengals inFlorida

I wish I had seen this post sooner, I got a little excited. Basil is from Dreampaws Bengals. I'm surprised you found them.
I got Basil for a lower price too I think I lucked out at 300$- she was selling him for 400$ fixed, but she allowed me to get him fixed on my own for 300$. Basil is a Marble.
She updated me frequently with photos of him before I could take him home, and she even recommended to me her vet. I occasionally run into Terri and Bob at the Veterinarian office and they always have a "talk" with Basil.

Basil is healthy and beautiful, and full of energy. He's very loving too. The girl at the Veterinarians office also has two Bengals from Dreampaws and we both agree that the males seems to be raised very cuddly.

I am excited for you and I cannot wait to see some pictures of your baby!
I will have to tell Basil he has a family member on thebengalcatforums- haha.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I purchased a snow bengal from this cattery in 2012. We name him Saki, he was a great cat and very sweet, however just 2 days ago we lost him to FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a deadly virus that is contagious to other cats. Please be warned if you purchase from here that other cats from this breeder could have this deadly disease.

So sorry for your loss.

FIP is not remotely contagious. It is a mutated form of corona virus. Many many cats have been exposed to corona virus, it's actually rarer for a cat to never be exposed to it. Nobody knows what makes it mutate in one cat but not in others. Lots of research is being done as it is a very nasty illness.

Given the length of time since you brought home your baby, it will be impossible to say for sure that corona virus came from the breeder. You can potentially carry corona virus into the house if you tread in fresh cat poop. They can pick it up at vets. Can pick it up outside from infected poop in soil etc.... Any contact with other cats etc....

I am so very sorry for your loss, it is very sad. Hugs xxxx
