Possible new kitten

Hi All,

I am going to take a look at a kitten today and just wanted your advice/opinion. She is from Medoz Bengals. A rosetted/spotted silver girl. I am IN LOVE. Just want your opinions, the breeder says she is show quality, but I'm just looking for a pet. I attached pictures of the kitten and her dad. The only ones I have of the mom are of her with the kittens.

I think she maybe a pawprint rosette but show quality? I don't have experience but I don't think the kitty is show quality.

Cutie kitty though! You need to look at how the breeder keeps them, is the breeder honest/forward about any illnesses or issues within their cattery. Are the kittens socialized or are they shy and coward away?

I have Medoz lines in my pedigrees

The kitten looks lovely to me and im sure the breeder is experienced enough to know what show quality is, she has a lovely head & ears and her markings are gorgeous - how did it go?

I would imagine it's difficult to tell if a silver is show quality at such a young age as among other features it depends if the tarnish (brown) disappears after 6 months or so. If the breeder isn't trying to charge extra i don't know what difference it makes though.

Is it me or have the eyes in the second picture been photoshopped?

Gorgeous kitty - I would go for her! It looks like she may have a couple of 'rib bars' in her markings, which I believe from other posts would negate her from show quality status. :?:

Mum appears to have one as well. Is the price extra for SQ? Is that why the breeder has said this?

Looks very cute and sweet - love the little dip in her ear tips in the 2nd photo, although those will probably go as she gets bigger

- and those paw print rosettes are to die for :mrgreen:

She didn't charge me extra for saying she was show quality, I paid regular pet price

I'm not interested in showing, I simply adore the bengal breed and am so excited to finally have my own

We did get her, I'll try to post pictures of her when she settles in! She is 16 weeks now, those pictures are from her at 4 weeks old. The breeder was very helpful and she has all her shots/worming and vet check done. I believe the white in her eye was a reflection from the flash in those pictures.

Thanks for everyone's input! I am so excited to have my first bengal baby.
