Where to get a Bengal kittie ?

Hello,

I am new to the forum and Bengal cats, but I have already fallen in love with these wonderful creatures. I live in Limassol Cyprus and from my research it seems that there is no breeder on the Island. Actually I wasn't able to find any info about Bengals on the island. Is it ok to buy a kittie abroad and send it by pet courrier? and which are the most popular and recognized breeders you experienced people know? Any info is appreciated.

this website looks pretty good, lots of breeders to choose from.. Anyone else with some specific recommendation? To be honest i would like to get two of them but a breeder i found in Nothern greece ( laterrabengals.com - what do you think about this? )is selling F6 SBT for 800-1200 Euros Each ( not sure if i will get a discount for 2 of them ) + 250-300 each to send.... thats a bit too much. Any suggestions?

PS: also found this website: internetlocalclassifieds.com - where people are giving out Savannah and bengal cats supposedly cause they cant take care of them. So far so good but when i contacted 2 of them I found out that they are both from British Cameroon, now call me suspicious but this smells like a scam to me.
Any feedback on this website perhaps or British Cameroon involving animal shipping etc.

This is really odd - both said they were in british columbia and both their IP's are in the US. one in California and one in Seattle... scam for sure but they are not Africans as I thought in the begining. sad.
This whole thing is making me more and more suspicious and cautious...

You still looking? I know of some breeders in the United States that have kittens now including me. With the euro to dollar the way it is you might do better there. Alas I am one of the few I know of that tests for Pkdef and HCM. My current breeders are to young for HCM though But will be going in at 2 years (the age recommended by my vet) . Which all good breeders should do. I have a test website I made but It needs some work. You can it here http://www.ipnursery.com

They're the best breeders around :-)
