The only toy she never tires of is the "cat dancer." I'd invest in a cat wheel but our budget is exhausted. I bought an enormous cat tree that neither cat uses. My husband even put empty plastic containers on its various levels in the hope that Bella would be attracted there to knock them down, but that is now a dead letter. She doesn't. I would love to walk her, but she hates the harness. Sherry suggested a cat stroller so she can at least be safely out of doors.

The cat dancer is a great, cheap toy. Raiden will chase it around. Cat wheels are great. We have one, but Raiden steps on it about twice a day for a few go-rounds. They take up a lot of room as well. Don't give up on the cat tree. You can entice Bella to go up it with a toy or treat. I purchased a large cat bed because my other cat loves to sleep on the floor, which will be cold in the winter time. I placed it next to the area he sleeps. Two months go by and he never even touches it. Suddenly, we find him on it. Now he sleeps on it most of the time. Raiden has even slept on it a time or two. But Raiden prefers to be elevated and has two other beds in the same room that he likes. Bella will hop on the cat tree when she is ready. You can also use catnip spray on it and see if that entices her.

OK. We'll see. Thanks for the tips. (I thought about a cat wheel. I probably should have gotten one instead of the tree. They are pricey, and if the cats wouldn't use it, it would be quite a waste.)

I wonder about your tree... usually that is a really excellent purchase for a bengal. I've bought like 5 or 6 trees over the years, for a couple of generations of cats, and I've never had a tree that the cats didn't love. Especially bengals. So I wonder what is wrong with your tree. Can you post a picture? One huge thing of course is location. Where do you keep this tree that they are not using? I wouldn't give up on the tree! I think there are probably just some tweaks you can do to make it more desirable, including potentially moving it to a different (more cat-desirable) location.

People always ask about what toys work best for a bengal. Particularly what toys will they play with, without human involvement. I'd say at the very top of that list for all that cats I've owned would be those little toys that they dangle from little "bungie" strings on cat trees. If your tree doesn't have any of those, you might see if you could buy or assemble such toys. The biggest problem I've had is that the cats like them so much that they destroy them.

And yea, I totally understand about a wheel being a pricey, and also risky purchase. Some members have bought wheels and they are now gathering cobwebs. But I have to say that for my blue bengal Serafina, that's her "yes" for when she needs to burn off a lot of energy and I'm not playing with her. She'll hop on the wheel 4 or 5 times a day, and it clearly helps her a great deal.

Hi, Brian. I'll try uploading a photo of the tree. It is absolutely splendiferous. To my eyes, anyway. But obviously not to my cats. It IS weird. It's truly a very tall tree. We've positioned it in two places in our long living room and really I don't know where else it can go. Will send photo tomorrow. Thanks!

A cat tree in front of a window gives them an awesome view. I have three cat trees, varying heights. One is in Raiden's enclosure and he loves to sleep on it when it is raining out (strange, but true). Hopefully, your cat tree looks like a cat tree. Most cats are so curious, they have to check everything out. Raiden was on his trees before we even finished putting them together. A cat wheel can be a waste of money. Raiden does use his every single day -- but the total time may be 2 minutes. But, he is using it.
