I've owned many moggies, and two bengals... I honestly didn't notice any difference except that my bengals seem more energetic and both have/had wonderful personalities.

I took my one year old male bengal to the vet yesterday and today, and he was great. Didn't make a sound even when they stuck a thermometer in his rear. (heh)

In my experience, they're simply very loving, very sweet and VERY funny cats.

My two have never shown aggression to either humans or other cats. Mine are out door cats. I live in a rural area and they love being outside in the summer. They don't go far though and now the weather is on the change they are in most of the time. i would definitely not let them out is i lived in an urban risky area. I have had the occasionally soft hand bite and Roo reaches out and gently puts his paw on my face. They both play with soft paws which I taught them from early on. in a nutshell they are energetic, characterful, playful, loving and non aggressive. When other cats have come into our garden they are just interested and very confident in themselves. Its usually the other cats that get all feisty with the growling and hissing, and mine just kind of look at them with the expression of "Oh for gods sake, calm down! What's the drama??"! One does not like to be picked up and riggles down. One does, one his terms though. We walk around with him led along the forarm, in what we call the huggy hand hold. He rests his paws on your hand and licks your fingers. Awww, just go to love em!

I have not witnessed any aggression from Tasha. After getting over her kitten hyperactivity, she has turned out to be quite affectionate and mellow. She plays quite actively with both me and my other cat, Tito, but I have observed she is quite careful about not digging in her claws, and her bites are soft, "love bites" and it is clear she is being gentle so as not to hurt. The only time she bites hard is through the bed covers when she is attacking my toes! I'm not sure she knows those moving toes are attached to her mom, lol

i couldnt hlep but notice this post, my mothers bengal cat is roughly the same age as mine (around 6 months) and hers is so playful. When i brought my cat around to see if htey would play together etc i put it in a room with just a small gap to let them smell each other etc.
My cat started making some seriously agressive sounds where as my mothers cat just wanted to play. I am not sure why my cat is so agressive but thinking back my cat is very loud and likes to talk.

Ellie has a sort of aggression that's hard to place. It involves laying on her back and savagely attacking your hands with her fur !!

She wriggles and squirms then grips your hand with her paws (note 'paws' not claws, then closes her not inconsiderable dental furniture on your fingers - doesn't bite, just makes contact).

I've also seen her savage my friends with unprovoked head buts, rubbing and lap jumping - then she unleashes her secret weapon - uncontrollable purring.

Yep, I reckon you'd have to be brave to face this level of feline savagery. Or perhaps just take a chance and prepare for a life that's anything BUT boring.
