Hi,
I am new to the forum but cannot find a topic to cover my "problem". My female Bengal, as a kitten, used to select various clothes and drag them around the house. This was funny at the time.
Since her pregnancy and birth of her kittens, she stopped. They are 8 weeks old now and she has taken up her old habit WITH A VENGANCE. She carries any around the house....shoes, trainers, underwear, t-shirts, jeans, pillows, towels, anything is fair game!
I don't know how she gets some of them into the kittens....it's a half door, about 4 foot high, into the room and she will carry in heavy trainers, jeans and pillows - it's a wonder she has teeth left. My lambs wool cardigan has been sent to the dump, full of teeth holes. They don't necessarily have to be delivered to the kittens.....just dragged around until discarded.
It's still funny at times...until she appears in front of guests, dragging my bra!
Anyone else's cat do this?

haha yup. My Tau seemed to have a thing for my underwear for a while. He came waltzing out of the bedroom one day with a bright red thong wrapped around him. OH MY!

Sorry no real solutions to offer you other than making sure that clothes are inaccessible to her.

Simba came downstairs one day dragging a bath sheet, not sure how he managed it but he seems to have grown out of it!! He prefers my 'personal items' now!! Selina

yeah, goblin does this... is starting to teach the kittens too. they ended up having a tug of war with my scarf a few weeks back! i just got more secure drawers and a lidded washing hamper

Great....I've just been brought a dvd now! Perhaps she wants to watch it.

Will be taking steps to secure my underwear......I'm pretty chilled, HOWEVER
my OH is a Vicar, so can he definitely do without Hobbes appearing downstairs in meetings draped in my underwear

I had a visitor who wore lovely thick woolly hiking socks. The cats wouldn't leave her feet alone all evening & she ended up taking the socks off & giving them to them! Naughty little thieving Bengals!!

But it's not just clothes now.
Plastic cartons (not necessarily old food ones, as you might expect), DVD's, mail that has a sellophane /plastic wrapper...anything plastic. My cat has some wierd fetish going on!
It's not really a problem...until she drags noisy things around in the early hours of the morning or when we were painting - didn't do much for clothes being dragged past new gloss paint and OH wasn't best pleased.

Usually, it's really funny except when she's caused havoc to the painting. She took the kittens my lambswool cardigan and they certainly "killed" it!

Roxy has a special relationship with a wollen blanket (see the video). Haven't noticed her with our clothes or footware yet...
