Thanks for your responses!
Yes, he's neutered and he has 3 clean litter boxes to use and had peed voluminously earlier. He saw the vet 1 month ago.
Sadly, I'm extremely knowledgable about FLUTD (my previous cat/mate had both flutd and finally a PU
) and always would consider this first with any inappropriate peeing. I will test his urine for pH (I use chemstrips) Further, I plan to syringe him with extra water (the most important thing in flutd is dilute urine) as soon as I find the syringe
Ezekiel is outside alone (on a very long leash) for the first time in his life as-we-speak. We live in Florida, and this is the first cool/cold day here and the first day I felt comfortable taking him out. I will not allow him out to free-roam, as there are too many dangers around here.
His enclosed porch fixation includes sitting at the opened screened-door, where he can watch lizards and sniff the fragrance of passing cats. Sorry I wasn't clear.
I knew and dove with the STS owners in the 90s, and they discussed selling the formula to veterinary distributors because it was so effective with animal urine and odors. I always wondered if they did. Urine Off sounds so similar that I think it could be that product in a different format. STS is not washed off either and is quite kind to human bodies and living things. Sounds like Urine Off is the same.
My previous cat demanded an early morning walk every day. I have not yet created that demand (Zeke is not as fearless or dominant as Rascal was. Yet.) But he wouldn't get literally pissed-off if I said no.
So this behavior shocked me.
