Don't know what happened tonight, but Zeus went mad, in the few days that we've had him, he's not behaved like this before, he went crazy on his own, jumping off things, biting and scratching us - even tried to climb a metal speaker!! Hestia knew something was odd about him and kept out of the way, after about 5 mins he just flaked out next to me asleep, almost like he'd passed out. Very odd indeed! Any ideas why he went like this? A storm coming perhaps? I've seen cats go crazy over that before. Or maybe he smelt a queen on heat nearby? As he still has all his *instincts* at the moment!

This is what I call ** running fits ** It appears to be a burst of energy they simply can not contain.

Remembering I have 7 cats in my home. A 14 year old, an 8 year old and 5 approx. 1 year olds --BELIEVE ME -- I am an EXPERT in the effects of running fits

Sometimes, at my house, when ONE bursts into a **running fit** SOMEONE -- or possibly MULTIPLE someones -- just can't resist joining in. :huh:

And, quite often after one of these energy bursts, they do POWER NAP, shortly afterward. B)

Last night one of my boys and two of my girls and my son's girl ALL decided to have a marathon exercise romp up and down my stairs between my living room and my son's bedroom suite. It sounded like a herd of horses had escaped !!! My son came running down stairs to ask me if I knew what was wrong -- and I only LAUGHED -- saying that my question was not what was wrong -- but who initiated the RACE!!!

All I can say, is with all the ENERGY Bengal kittens have -- BRACE YOURSELF

Hehe, we have regular energetic sessions, but this one was different - he'd lost the plot!! Not seen it again since, maybe he'll save it for special occasions B)

After yesterday's trip to the Vet, they were zonked out all afternoon, but they certainly have made up for it today

Sounds normal to me! I refer to it as "tweaking"...
