Kayley, my now 1 year old Amazon, as a kitten started pulling a shoe lace with a rubber lizard on it down the hall at full rocket speed, usually with her favorite brother, Bailey, chasing to get the lizard in his mouth. When he got the lizard, she jumped on him, so he was the "catch du jour".
The shoes lace and lizard were used the same way by their 19 year Uncle Spanky and his sister when they were kittens.

When the battery operated plastic fish arrived, it was time to get a 5 quart dish pan out to the covered patio and fill it up. Bailey, being a ham actor, was the first at their fish tank with Spanky and Kayley 3 inches behind him and yours truly 5 inches back. By the time Bailey caught the first fish, all 3 of us had been splashed multiple times as Bailey splashed and dropped both front legs into their fish tank. Of course, we stepped back to watch the fisherman Bengal haul each fish out of the tank. The fish with the large fin on top of the body was pulled out by his teeth and the other operating fish were lifted up by his front left paw AFTER many splashes. Of course, he had to make sure that his audience had gotten wet! The seats maybe cheap, but we always have a performer.

With Bailey humming bird hunting, Kayley tried her paws at fishing with Spanky and yours truly as the audience. Spanky gave her a 7 inch margin for her splashes. Being the Amazon that she is, if the fish did not surrender within moments, she got mad and started to slap it only to find that the water splashed her too. That got her madder and more water was flying around and the audience moved back another 7 inches and Bailey came by to see what was causing the white water in the fish tank. Once Kayley was exhausted with no fish removed from the tank, Bailey pulled the 3 fake fish out and she was so NOT pleased that a chase around the back yard ensued. Yes, they came running in the house with some mud and grass on their paws since the tiles had been cleaned the day before. Spanky is deaf now so the daily performances by Kayley and Bailey are a real treat for him.
