My lovely Whisky sleeps in my bed every night. He prefers sleeping over the covers, usually between my legs, but sometimes sleeps under the covers next to me. He is a very affectionate cat and he loves to be pet. During the night, he is calm and will sleep until the morning, no playing with our feet under the sheets or anything. The only problem is I sometimes get hot under the covers and will take a leg out (I believe I am a normal person haha...). When I do, if my leg is near the cat, he will take a bite on my skin ! However, he does not bite my hands or arms at any time. I find it weird that he will bite my leg only (and kind of annoying and scary at night!). If I touch him right after, he seems really happy and purrs, so I don't think he wants to play by doing so. Is it something your cat does too? Is there a solution besides sleeping under the covers only and turning the AC on?

Yes I have one (Jagger) that will attack feet if they are sticking out of the covers! It's not a good way to wake up!

I will watch this thread closely to see if anyone else has a solution to this as I certainly don't

Yes, that's us, we dread the summer now and make sure we are tucked in :-) Echo prefers my boyfriend's leg, it's just hilarious when he's struggling to unlatch her at three in the morning - well, hilarious because it's not my leg

Cats are quirky!!! I don't have this problem. My legs are under the covers as I am always COLD. Raiden sleeps on top of the covers at my feet. I'm guessing adding armor leg wraps (think of hockey goalies) would not help. They would make you even warmer. LOL
