I let Simba in my bed for a few nights but he would insist on sleeping on my chest and he is heavy so I had to stop it.

He now has the run of the house except my bedroom the door is always closed.

Echo lets everyone know when she's tired! She sleeps with us on the couch from about 9:00 pm onwards.



She follows me to bed at around 11:00 and sleeps curled up between my husband and I until he wakes for work at around 7:00 am.

We are lucky. Even on weekends she lounges with us until the first human rises.

Oh my God! Echo is too funny! She is adorable and I love her baby teeth!

My Bengal (Simba) comes to life at night, he's four and a half months old. he's always playful but once he's had his bedtime feed 10.30pm he just goes mental, charging around, but hung, scratches, attacking me from every angle in my bed. He won't settle until gone 2am and it's starting to ware me down as I need to sleep for work. He's recently been neutered. He's never alone he's got my dogs at home during day, we pop home at lunch to let dogs out. He's a house kitten and never looks to go out so happy to keep it that way. If we shut him out of the bedroom he meows and trashes the house. Shall I feed him earlier ? Help! I've had cats before but never a bengal.

Katniss sleeps in the kitchen and she seems totally happy doing so.

She was banned from the bedroom due to her scratching the leather bed frame, so we didn't let her in there anymore, but she can go everywhere else. She used to be perfectly fine knowing when it's bed time and went to bed when we did in the evening. However the mornings were a completely different story. She would start scratching the door and meowing as soon as she heard the alarm go off and then just randomly at random times. Sometimes 4am, sometimes 6am (thankfully never earlier than 4).

She tore up the carpet in front of the door as she was desperate to get in. We put her in the kitchen once (about a month ago) to just try how she gets on. Took her toys and litter box and bed in there. She didn't meow or scratch, not even in the morning. She doesn't do it even on the weekends anymore and Sundays ever since I've been able to have an undisturbed lay ins *bliss*. She just wakes up now when I let her out. She has gone from "I need to be in this bedroom" to "The kitchen is the best place to be". No idea why, but works for us and everyone's happy :).

My cats are totally on a schedule. Everything must happen at the exact time it did the day before and the day before that. As far as who sleeps where...it changes. I think the weather has something to do with it but they also have their power struggles and who sleeps next to my head seems to be a prize. Grace moves her sleeping locations frequently. Sometimes up on the tower looking down over me and Blondie all night. Sometimes in the living room on the sofa, or the kitchen on her cat tree, or on one of the cat trees in the bedroom, or the bedroom fuzzy rug or on the bed. Blondie slept in my arms for over a year but now sleeps at my feet and Grace has claimed the prize location next to my pillow so I can pet her.

Oh, I love Echo's baby teeth, too!!!!! Sounds like it is Ground Hog Day at your house, Jill. Raiden's schedule is different each day. Last night he was in his heated bed in the living room when we went to bed, but I woke up about 1 a.m. and he was at my feet. Today he disappeared and had beat me up to the bonus room for his nap. I find him sleeping in all different places around the house.
