How are things coming along now, after a few more days ?

He eats/drinks fine now and is pretty good about using his litter box...although he still sprays/marks random places and it smells TERRIBLE. He does have a vet appointment tomorrow to get neutered, so I'm hoping this will end his spraying?

Overall, he's coming around. Still skittish/scared at times, but he loves to play and even allows me to pet him (when he wants). He hates being picked up tho...will this change?

And one thing I've realized is that I need a water dish that weighs about 50 lbs so he can spill it anymore haha. He ALWAYS plays in it and spills it everywhere.

Glad to hear that he is eating and drinking fine! Bengals do love to play in their water bowl -- I have the same problem with mine. I use a Neater Feeder which will contain much of the splashing.

Know that neutering your male will not stop the marking. My bengal is 9 years old, was neutered at 12 weeks and sprays. Used to be he sprayed only on our walks outside or on the walls of his enclosure. Now he has three places in the house that he has been spraying and I've ordered some stuff to take care of that and put out the Feliway again. Marking is for territory! And male cats, especially, have to have their territory! While you may notice less marking ... I'm afraid once they start, it just continues forever! Not much you can do about it, although I am considering creating a diaper for mine to wear when he is in the house! I'm sure that will go over great with a bengal.

One of my cats raises her tail and her back end quivers all over. I don't see any liquid generally but she does this many times a day, usually when she comes to me asking me to pet her. Does anyone else's cat do this? She has sprayed at least one time I know of but it was a long time ago.

Like Brian, we had a (non-bengal ) that did the whole tail shaking thing. thought at first the she was spraying, but never a drop came out in the house.

It seems to be a sign of utter happiness. Jasmine was a stray and she would often do it when coming back into the house after doing her morning rounds in between cheek-rubbing and headbutting anything she could reach.

Grace does this several times a day but I have never seen Blondie do it. Grace is usually rubbing agains me when she does this.

Any time Raiden lifts his tail, I'm weary! However, most back up to a vertical surface to spray! He doesn't spray often in the house, but he has and I just cleaned the three spots he frequents, put the feliway diffusers back out and sprayed the areas. He marks the bushes constantly on our walks and even in his enclosure -- so it's not like he doesn't have an outlet.
