Suddenly, this morning, the answer came to me! While you were vomiting and making these horrible noises, Suri thought something was attacking YOU and she wanted to make sure you were safe and went to attack whatever was attacking you. Unfortunately, you were the only person there. She was NOT attacking YOU. She was after the vicious noise and motion -- she was trying to protect you! I can't believe the cat behaviorist didn't even consider this. The vomiting noise provoked her -- not YOU.

We all know Suri has been so sweet and has bonded closely with you and she would NEVER EVER hurt you on purpose. The fact that she still came after you when you returned from the ER shows that she was still agitated by the "thing" and still wanted to get the "thing." That "thing" was still your persona. I'm betting she is back to normal at this point and highly doubt you have anything to worry about in the future as long as you close Suri out of the bathroom if you have a migraine that leads to sickness again.

I'm glad to hear you thought about the same scenario! Suri had no idea what was happening! I understand you're still leery of her -- but I truly think this was a one-time thing. I know you NEVER thought something like that would happen, but once it hit me, it made perfect sense. She wouldn't hurt you for the world. She wanted to protect you -- from that horrible ordeal you were going through! It's great to know that she is so protective of you. So happy she is back to her old self! She's such a sweet kitty. Hope Freyja is doing great as well.
