Bengal fetch

Who else has a bengal that loves fetch? Leo could play fetch all day!

It is amazing. I would like to teach fetch our boys. But now they only run for ball and run back. They don't bring ball back

Is it some way how teach them fetch?

We basically figured out he loved playing with shiny things (at first it was a toffee with a shiny wrapper). We would throw it and he would run and play with it and I would go pick it up and throw it again. It was quite repetitive and occasionally he would accidently play with it near me and I would praise him lots and throw again. He finally got the idea that bringing it back gave him praise and I would throw it for him again so he started just bringing it back to me every time. We have just bought these shiny crinkle balls from Amazon that he loves so much to replace the toffees he ripped to shreds!

Nice video. Mine don't fetch. They love running after tennis balls I throw them but these are too big to bring them back as they can't grab them with their teeth. They don't really like running after smaller balls although they used to when they were smaller and I must have tons of them lost around the house.

One of mine learnt how to fetch really quickly one day with a rolled up ball of tin foil. I was so excited! Since then he just isn't bothered, so I guess it must have been way more fun for me than him!

One cat does, the other one doesn't, however she is very fussy on what she fetches. It has to be a plastic mouse covered with cloth, if it is a toy with no plastic she does nothing. So once we figured this out, we bought mass quantities because she destroys them.....

Raiden doesn't fetch either. I throw and he just looks at the ball. Refuses to go near it! I don't have the patience to attempt to train him. He does his own thing.

My cat, Lulu loves to play fetch and will do it for hours. :lol:
