I've never really understood the "like a dog" references to bengals, but you hear that a lot. All I can figure is that perhaps people that are more familiar with dogs than cats mean it as a compliment? Dunno. Don't get it.
My bengals play nothing like any dog I've ever seen. Concealment, stalking, sneak attacks, pouncing, leaping 5-6 ft in the air, occasionally doing graceful backflips and "sticking the landing" when trying to get flying objects etc. I suppose the one thing that they do that dogs also do is to bring me things to throw, and then fetch. Only about 50% of the time when they catch up to the thrown object, they then take it and head the opposite direction away from me
They are like "yea, I'll bring it back to you when I'm good and ready...this is MY game, not yours"... typical cat.
