YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Definite progress being made now. Don't get me wrong, there was a bit of hissing last night from Hendrix, but they'd both been asleep all day (I was spying from my cameras) and Jagger was brimming with energy and generally being annoying to his brother whenever he was idle. However, I received a load of toys I'd ordered yesterday to try and keep them busy (not that they don't have loads already but they soon get bored!) and look what happened!!

I thought they might argue over it but they played happily for a good half hour and every time Jagger was being annoying to Hendrix last night I redirected him back to this toy.

I only let them have this toy last night along with some motorised bugs they played with in the kitchen for a while and I've kept everything else back for now.

So still a work in progress, but I could have cried with happiness last night to see them playing together! x

So awesome to hear, Clare. I hope it lasts! Raiden has that toy and has never once played with it. I, on the other hand, have spent hours pushing that ball around the track. It's fun!

My cats loved that toy when I first got it. Now it is in their bedroom and just sits there. I should bring it back into the living room and see if they play with it again.

I thought I'd give a little update on this to provide hope for others who may experience or be going through this issue!

When I read up on cats hitting social maturity between the age of 2 and 4, and that it can cause a 'hiccup' I thought it would be a couple of weeks and everything would settle down again! To be honest, I'd say its more of a very long and very loud belch that comes and goes for a good year or so

However, after receiving help from a behaviourist and persevering, I would say (crossing all fingers and toes, and touching wood etc!!) that we are out the other side now. I have become the master of distraction when Jagger gets a bee in his bonnet and I'm happy to say, and I feel like I have my playful, mischievous and happy Bengals back again and really enjoy watching them play and zooming round the house together!!

I even bought them a new cat tree for the conservatory in December and we haven't had a full scale bust up on it at all! There might be a bit of argy bargy if they both want to be on it at the same time and want the same bed or whatever, but they soon sort themselves out and settle down.

So hopefully everyone is happy with their place in their feline hierarchy now and peace is restored!

Good to hear that things are finally working themselves out - it can be strange that kittens that get on well together can have issues as they grow.

It's lovely to see that! Many thanks for updating with the pathways result... It's painful when they don't get on with each other.... We have just hit that wall with ours and are finding it hard to cope with. On the plus side, our kitties are being very nice and cuddly with us. Behaviourist has been called and here's hoping it works!

I don't know how you all do it with multiple cats. I have a problem dealing with the batting of paws when I walk Raiden and the outdoor cat follows us.

Great photos on their new tree. The sun picks up on their beautiful markings. Good to hear they are doing well. My two are always changing. Grace has become so loving towards me in the past couple of months. It's a welcome change from her usual independance.
