I found a female bengal cat two months ago completely eemaciated outside. She is declawed. First month half she was very weak not active very lovable. In the past two weeks she has been extremely active very healthy and attacking my maincoon cat constantly, screams all night. I'v had one hr sleep in three days. She went from four pounds to 8. Quite the acrobat. Can open containers, cuboards, eats anything gets into sink loves water. She is dewormed. Gets along great with my two dogs. The maincoon is neutered. Yesterday first time that I ever have seen she piss ed in front of me all over my folded pants then piss ed on my dogs bed while he was sleeping then the blanket downstairs. I'v already got her up for sale my boyfriend and I can't have pee everywhere. I am posting this because I would like opinion on why she is doing this. I did lots of research on bengals. I know she is very dominant, athletic, needs lots of excersise and attention. She doesn't seem to be straining to pee. She uses litter box that's always cleaned.I love Mia brought her in saved her but it's not working out and I have my hands full with my 11 week old bouvier and other cat ferret and dog. On top of that I'm allergic to her . Just want to find her a great forever home. Any opinions on this behavior?

First of all, cats are territorial and need their own space. Second of all, any change in environment with your bengal is going to stress the kitty out. You've got a lot going on in your household with another cat and a couple of dogs. No wonder the bengal is going crazy!

Each cat needs their own litter box. You should have one for each cat and a spare one -- that's three! Your bengal needs a cat tree so she can be perched high above everything. Your bengal should not be attacking your other kitty. It's not fair to your Maine Coon.

I know we get a cat and expect that he/she will fit in immediately, but that is not the case when you have a bengal. I'm guessing you didn't give the bengal a safe room in the beginning so things weren't thrown at her all at once.

I'm sure if you've researched the bengal breed, you've found out they are not like your ordinary cat. A bengal is totally opposite of your Maine Coon. I'm thinking you did not introduce them properly in the beginning. Now your bengal is acting out by peeing on clothes. Yes, that's aggravating, but there's a reason your girl is doing this -- and if you're not willing to figure out what's the reason (I'm sure she's okay physically). Try multiple litter boxes. Make sure each cat has their own space in your home -- multiple cat trees will help. Play with your bengal -- wear her out. Bengals have a lot of energy and they will take it out on you or another pet.

I'm guessing your bengal needs a home without all the stress going on. Hopefully, you won't just hand her off to a friend or relative. Most people are totally unprepared for the bengal -- I know I was when I got Raiden a couple of years ago when he was 6 years old. Beautiful cat, but I had no idea the vocalizing and crying nonstop. I'm still working on that ... but I made a commitment to take care of him and that's what I'm going to do.

Well done in nursing her back to health. It's a little odd though that you seem to be ok with her attacking and fighting with the other cat, but it's the pee that is causing her banishment. But regardless they are likely to be one and the same problem. There are a lot of things you could try, but it sounds like the bengal is on the verge of being re-homed, so that's probably a moot point, but Sherry gave you some good advice if you are of a mind to try to solve it. I hope you can find her a good home. If you are having trouble finding such a home for her, definitely try a shelter who will see far more potential pet parents than you can yourself. Good luck.
